Lucky
This week, our world was crazy. I was in Toronto for work for part of the week, Ed had cross country after school, and a meet on Saturday (the girls ran great), plus all the other house stuff that needs to be done, and most importantly spending time with Marin.
Well, we have decided to add to our crazy life. Marin is going to be a BIG sister! We asked Marin what we should call the baby while I am pregnant, and she told us "Lucky". We hope she always feels that way because Ed and I do. She talks to the baby through my belly button and often tells Lucky to "come." She does not understand the wait she has ahead of her. She akso tells us that Lucky is a boy. We will have to wait and see if she is correct.
Tonight, right before bed, she ran into our spare bedroom.
Me: Marin this is not your room, this is going to be Lucky's room.
Marin: No
Me: Where is Lucky's room going to be, then.
Marin: Tummy (She understands that is where the baby is now, but has no concept that it will live in our house at some point.)
Ed and I are very excited and look forward to the love, fun, and challenges that a second child will bring. I am feeling great. I am at the tired stage of my pregnancy, but other than that I can't complain. I have not been sick at all. Our due date is May 4, 2007. My dad my have to share a birthday (May5) with this little one.

OK - I thought I knew Ed and Sarah well...now I am certain that I do...only the two of them would have friend out there checking their family blog at 5:22 AM.
LUCKY for all of them that they are blessed with such great family and friends. We can't wait to meet Lucky, and hope you really consider naming him/her citidonna or chipintina.
